What to Expect:
Our pop-up listening booth is designed for whatever attention you have to give us — feel free to stop in and grab a post-card and peruse our website and listen to long-form interviews at your leisure; or cozy up and grab a seat and listen to some of our short-form pieces right there and then! Summer 2017 pop-up listening booths are generously funded through a grant from Ohio Humanities.
We’ll also be listening to you — come and share your thoughts, feedback, and reaction to these stories of Ohio farmers who are growing how they feel is right; and share out the ways you connect food to your health, community health and our environment here in Ohio!
Thanks to generous funding from the Greater Columbus Arts Council, our City of Columbus pop-ups will also feature experimental media arts programming! Check back here for more!
Feel free to be in touch if you’d like to bring the Growing Right experience to your farmers’ market/venue/community festival! Even if you’re not located in Central Ohio, drop us a line — we’ll see what we can do to come to you; or to help you arrange a listening party for Growing Right interviews!
We’re especially excited to connect with spaces and organizations dedicated to the work of food access, environmental justice and deep listening across difference. We believe firmly in the power of oral history to spark empathy, ecological awareness, empowerment and social change.
